The mission of Grace Lutheran Communities is to respond to the spiritual, physical and social needs of the people in order to enhance human dignity and growth by providing high-quality, Christian-based service.

 

Mike joined Grace Lutheran Communities in 1998 as Executive Director, and was promoted to CEO in 2014. Throughout his 20 years with us, he lead staff with his positive attitude and kind heart, and was always coming up with new ideas for ways to make Grace Lutheran Communities a better place for residents and staff.

He was an innovator here. Mike's years of experience in healthcare administration before joining our team, in addition to his intuitive and relatable persona, made him an invaluable asset to Grace Lutheran Communities. Family was the most important thing to Mike, and he treated everyone like they were his.

This honorary garden at Grace Lutheran Communities - River Pines will serve as a visual reminder of all the beautiful things he did for our community, and their lasting impressions on us all.
