Heritage Pavilion Patio Project

Building a Legacy One Brick at a Time

Hagood Mill is an operational water-powered gristmill rebuilt in 1845 by James Hagood.  The mill is the centerpiece of the Hagood Mill Historic Site and Folklife Center.  The latest addition to the site is the Heritage Pavilion which is framed up and being used on a very limited basis.  The plan is to enclose this pavilion so it can be a community gathering place for a variety of events in any kind of weather during any season of the year.  After the Heritage Pavilion is finished, the Hagood Mill Historic Site will be enjoyed by more people year-round.  The outdoor brick patio will be a welcoming feature.
