Georgetown Memorial Park
Remembering the past and honoring the present.
The Georgetown Memorial Park began with a dream in 2009 as the city of Georgetown Mn was preparing to celebrate the towns sesquicentennial, or 150 years! Fun fact. Georgetown is the oldest city in Clay County. Our goal was to create a beautiful space for people to stroll through and remember their loved ones, past or present, and to bring the community together. Over the years the park has continued to grow. We support it with monetary donations, volunteers, and by selling bricks. Currently as of 9/26/2023 we have 425 personalized bricks in the walkway, with room for many more. In the future we are hoping to add more bricks, benches, trees, and picnic tables. Thank you for ordering your brick and keeping your loved ones and the park alive.
