Fundraiser July 1st – September 9th

The Rock Island County Historical Society (incorporated in 1905) is entering the thirteenth decade of preserving the history of Rock Island County. During the nation's 250th anniversary, now is the time to leave a message for future generations telling who we were.

Any individual, family, group or organization is invited to purchase a commemorative brick to be placed in a plaza near the flagpole in the yard at 822 Eleventh Avenue Moline, IL. We anticipate the bricks will be installed May 2027. 

The bricks come in two dimensions: 4” x 8” or 8” x 8”. The costs are $125 and $250 respectively.  There are discounts available to RICHS members.

Now is the time to Make Our Mark just as our pioneer families did in the 1800’s.
