Blue Lake Township Park is pleased to announce The Serenity Garden — a peaceful, wooded sanctuary and small slice of heaven nestled within nature.
Accessible from Automobile Road by way of a winding, several hundred path through the woods, visitors are welcomed through a Gothic iron arbor into a charming 33-by-47-foot natural garden. The serene space is blanketed with soft periwinkle-purple vinca groundcover, creating a calming retreat filled with the beauty, sounds, and scents of nature.
Guests are invited to sit awhile on the stone benches, reflect, and enjoy the wrought-iron circular garden art along with remnants of a mid-century cottage once hidden in the woods. Every detail of the garden has been designed to offer relaxation, restoration, and peaceful reflection.
You can become a lasting part of this special place by purchasing a customized engraved brick to be placed along the garden’s border path. Your contribution will help support and preserve The Serenity Garden for all who visit and enjoy for years to come.
